Team Foundational Health

Coleen O'Hanlon, CNC Owner/Founder

After realizing the power nutrition plays in eliminating allergies and constant ear infections in my daughters when they were young, I dove in, learning all I could about nutrition, buying every book I could get my hands on. I took nutrition classes and received my CNC, Certified Nutritional Consultant, with the American Association of Nutritional Consultants. I started seeing clients and helping people lose weight, feel better and gain their health and vitality back. It gives me such joy to be able to share this knowledge with everyone.

I am in the process of studying to receive the Hippocrates Lifestyle Medicine Coach certificate.

I offer personalized lifestyle and nutrition coaching where you receive a nutritional survey which shows me if you are deficient in any vitamins and minerals and how your body systems are functioning. I then proceed with a food plan targeted to you while taking into account your likes and dislikes.  Our bodies want to be healthy if given the right nutrition it needs. All diseases stem from a place of deficiency and toxicity. We will work together to bring balance to your life.

I am here for you, offering guidance and support every step of the way.  Each session with me should last for 1 hour in the comfort of my private office.

My passion is to assist you in achieving your health goals, offering support, knowledge, and tools necessary to achieve homeostasis and overall well being.

Elizabeth Jordon (Liz), Meditation and Yoga

image18

Lizzie Jordon was awarded the title Yoga Acharya, Master of Yoga, M.Y. by The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. Recognizing that true mastery comes from living the practices, Lizzie’s intention is to share what she continues to

learn. She provides the space to nurture self knowledge and self reflection which leads to an authentic experience of wisdom. Every class is built around personal safety, respect and fun. Additionally, certifications in iRest/Yoga Nidra meditation and trauma sensitive yoga fuel her practice and her classes. Lizzie believes the conversation about flexibility is more about the mind than the body and encourages people to set aside the limited thinking that yoga is only for the flexible.

From the iRest website:

iRest is a meditation practice based on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra and adapted to suit the conditions of modern life. When practiced regularly - a little and often - iRest enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and wellbeing, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation.

More About Your Teacher:

Lizzie Jordon fell in love with the iRest practice during her yoga teacher training. An evening lecture was delivered by an iRest teacher who spoke of the benefits and the scientific research that supports it. Following the lecture was a guided iRest/Yoga Nidra meditation. The level of peace that Liz experienced was unmatched by any previous experience and she committed to the teachers path. Liz believes that Love Wins. All of her personal practice points to this truth and teaching the practice serves her world view: Every person has access to their own felt sense of Peace, Love and Purpose.

A lifelong Lehigh Valley resident, MaryAnn Turanchik brings a multi-faceted approach to her Reiki clients. As a Para-Professional for the past two decades, MaryAnn has taught students from all walks of life. She recently pioneered the “Peace Room,” an experiential mindfulness classroom at Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem. The program has been recognized nationally as an example of alternative trauma-sensitive approach to schools with underserved populations.

She also teaches mindfulness to students at Camp Awesome and assists Clear Path Wellness of the Lehigh Valley with Reiki at workshops designed to help survivors heal from sexual abuse and trauma. In the summer of 2019, MaryAnn was invited to teach English literature, math and mindfulness to children in Nepal. The transformative experience was both an honor and a humbling reminder of the connectedness we all share.

After an accident in 2011, MaryAnn looked for alternative healing methods, one of which lead her to Reiki.

MaryAnn experienced Reiki’s ability to open the heart, the mind and the body to peace, gratitude and healing.  She was inspired to study Reiki and earned her Reiki Master and Mindfulness Coach certifications in 2017.

MaryAnn is a Master Reiki practitioner in the Unlimited White Light tradition.  Her sessions invite the sacred vibrations of crystals, music and singing bowls.  Her client’s experience of safety is her top priority.

Joining the team at Foundational Health, LLC, MaryAnn is thrilled to share her passion and her gifts that support the healing journey of all who connect.  MaryAnn finds the inherent strengths of the people she is working with, connects with them where they are in the moment, and strives to help them achieve balance.
